This page lists the most expensive music videos ever made, with costs of $500,000 or more. Janet Jackson leads with six videos on the list, while Michael Jackson and Ayumi Hamasaki have five. Madonna have made four appearances. Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Mylène Farmer, Guns N' Roses, and MC Hammer appear on the list twice. Joseph Kahn has directed four videos on this list while Hype Williams and Wataru Takeishi have directed three videos on the list. Nigel Dick, Mark Romanek and John Landis appear twice on this list, the latter with videos both directed for Michael Jackson.

Titles in bold were the most expensive of all time at the time of their production.

Mark Romanek, the director of the, as known, most expensive music video, Michael and Janet Jackson's "Scream", has refuted the claim saying that there were two other music videos from the same era which cost "millions more" than the video for "Scream".^[1]

OLU MAINTAIN FIRES BACK AT CRITICS; “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?”

 OLU MAINTAIN HAVE BEEN MOVED TO RESPOND TO CRITICS OVER HIS MOST EXPENSIVE VIDEO... Trust Nigerians they must always have something to say...

Mixed feeling has trailed Olu Maintain’s recently released video ‘Enuff Effizzy,’ with many on Social media applauding the visual and condemning the song, pointing out that the lyrical content is ‘crap.’

In reaction to the criticism, the Yahoozee hit maker says the chunk of his followers; people who buy CDs and those who attend artistes’ concerts are the people on the street not online. He put forward a pertinent question to the so called social media critics.

“You just sit in front of the computer and criticize people, what are you doing with your life?,” Mr Olu asked while speaking to Hip TV news.

He recalled that Yahoozee, which later became a monster hit, was boycotted from being aired on radio for months because the OAPs thought the song was crap.

The former two-man group (Maintain) member, who somewhat confirmed that he’s married to a Brazilian woman, also said that his upcoming album is a 10-tracker and titled ‘The Chosen One,’ adding that he would also videos for each song when the album drops.

Lil Wayne Owes More Than 12 Million Dollars In Taxes

Lil Wayne allegedly owes the American government more than 12 million dollars in taxes and has been asked to pay up or face the law! However he allegedly says,

According to TMZ, the Got Money crooner failed to pay taxes for 2011 and 2012; amounting his debt to a staggering $5,843,952 and $6,311,132 the following year.
The Cash Money Young Money boss faces more financial issues this year as it's also reported that he owed $7 million for back taxes in 2008 -2009, but he cleared the debt in 2012.
Earlier in 2012, Weezy famously lost a case against Quincy Jones' son after thumbing his nose at the court.  A jury socked Wayne for $2.2 mil.
Well, according to Forbes, Wayne is worth $135 MILLION so why can’t he pay his taxes? Maybe he wants to make more millions before paying his taxes...

Pop super star Rihanna has openly declared bankruptcy ... but not in 2014! She claims her then accountant fooled her into spending enormous cash acquiring stuff not knowing her bank account was bleeding seriously! Yes, we are talking about 2009!

Legal documents in connection with a lawsuit Rihanna filed against her accountant , claiming gross mismanagement has popped up and according to TMZ, RiRi says her accountant made so many boneheaded decisions that he blew her fortune and she was "effectively bankrupt" by the end of 2009.

The Not Now singer claims in new legal docs she had $11 MILLION in cash at the beginning of 2009.  Rihanna says the accountant was not on the ball and she was horrified to learn at the end of the year she had $2 million left. To make matters worse, her expenses doubled, which left her on a financial cliff.

We are still trying to wrap our heads over how Rihanna blew through $9 million in one year but she says her accountant gave her the green light to buy a house priced between $7 and 7 1/2 million. So she took his advice. She ultimately sold the house for a $2 million LOSS last year.

Her recently filed documents also claim her 2009 tour - Last Girl on Earth Tour - was losing money but the accountant never gave her the heads up.

Well, not to panic, Rihanna has rebounded nicely.  Her net worth is currently estimated at $43 MILLION.

Controversial pop singer Justin Bieber turned 20 on March 1 and to celebrate his exit from teen age, the singer blew off candles from a small cake which looked like it was meant for kids [Instagram photo above].

What is most interesting is the name written on the tiny birthday cake: BIZZLE! What the hell is that BIEBER?
